In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the formal announcement, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The questline centers on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
